Burnaby high school students optimistic about their second pandemic summer

Another summer in quarantine? Or a busting out, finally post-vaccination, after over a year of pandemic blues? 

For these Burnaby teens looking forward to summer, the future is uncertain but looking better. 

A Burnaby high school student expressed optimism about the upcoming summer break. “I am very excited for the summer!” says Yoshin Obama. “ I am expected to get vaccinated by then.”

Yoshin Obama is hoping everything will be back to normal. “It might mean that everything can go back to what it was pre-pandemic.”
